Apple releases iOS 10.3.3 for iPhone, iPad, iPod users which features bug fixes and security improvements. It would be the last tiny update for iOS 10.3 before iOS 11. Though it does not bring much surprise, it fixes some problems that exist in the older iOS versions including battery improvement.

Most of us can update without any problem, unfortunately, some users can’t update to iOS 10.3.3. They either hang on verifying update, or get messages saying "Unable to Install Update. An error has occurred installing iOS 10.3.3".

How to Fix iPhone/iPad/iPod touch Can’t Update to iOS 10.3.3 OTA

Method 1. Update Network Settings

If you get the error like “Not connected to the Internet” when updating via OTA, the two things below usually help. Try and then update via OTA again

Method 2. Give your iPhone/iPad a Force Restart

You can restart your iPhone/iPad by pressing and holding both the power button and the Home buttons (volume down button for iPhone 7/7 P) and continue holding until the Apple logo appears, or using freeware ReiBoot to do it with 1 click.

Method 3. Update Via iTunes

Installing the update wirelessly (over the air) is more likely to fail. I will suggest you try updating your device via iTunes on computer.

Before go to iTunes for iOS update, please delete the failed iOS software update on your iPhone/iPad.

After removing the unpacked OTA from your device, follow the steps below to proceed with iTunes update.
